Vote for Experience. Re-elect Justine Gabias.

Hi. I’m Justine Gabias, the SCRD director for Area B, Halfmoon Bay. From 2022 to 2026, I have been fighting to make the SCRD a better and more sustainable organization, and Halfmoon Bay a more connected, resilient and vibrant community (see how). There’s more work to do, so I’m running for re-election.

 I’ve spent this last term building strong relationships with residents, community partners and elected officials, and I’ve gained a deep knowledge of the issues. It takes time to learn how to achieve objectives working within BC’s unique regional district framework; I have four years of experience doing that, which will increase my effectiveness in a second term.

 My priorities are:

  1. Water security

  2. Affordability

  3. A strong local economy

  4. Sustainable growth

  5. Road safety for all

 If re-elected, I will continue to advocate strongly for Halfmoon Bay/Area B.
